We are in final preparations for the major Midwest Laser event of the season at White Bear Lake, the week-end after Labor Day, Sept 11 and 12.
Calling all Laser Full, Radial and 4.7 rigs.

No Coast Laser Championship

We are offering:

Professional Race Management
Excellent Courses
Separate Fleet starts
No big motor boat traffic
Easy beach for dolly launching
Motor Boat ramp at site for coach/safety boats
Warm Fresh Water
Fall Breezes
Warm Minnesota Hospitality
Grand Prix Points

Check out the Notice of Race at:
www.dorsalgear.com

We are expecting a great turn-out with boats already coming from as far as New Jersey and Nebraska. It is a great opportunity to get experience sailing in a championship fleet before the College and High School Qualifiers (prize this year is a trip to the finals in Hawaii).

For information on White Bear Lake, go to the White Bear Yacht Club Sailing Division website at:
www.wbycsail.org
There you will find lots of information including a web cam overlooking White Bear Lake and great weather links.

We will be having an informal welcome get together on Friday evening for our out-of town guests and early registrants. Or come early for registration on Saturday morning, racing and evening party to follow.
Just e-mail me and let me know you are coming and avoid the late registration fee
If you are interested in chartering a boat or a 4.7 rig (provided at shipping cost by Vanguard and available at a discount after the regatta) contact me and I will try my best to get you on the water.

Good Sailing!

David Keane
Regatta Chairman
