Austin Laser Sailing Update

The May-September Wednesday Night racing series is well under way in Austin,
at the Austin Yacht Club.  You need only be a member of the human race with
possession (and reasonable sailing control) of a Laser in order to
participate!  We've had very good participation continuing from last year with
continued fleet growth as well.  This past week a professional photographer
came out to document all the fun we're having...check out the pictures at

For details and information on Austin Yacht Club - including how to get there,
go to www.austinyachtclub.net.  Wednesday night racing starts at 6pm and
continues until just before dark. The races are short, RTB, and informal, we
keep score, but there are generally no trophies or prizes.  We use a 3 minute
whistle sequence for starts and sail W/L, Triangle, and Gold Cup courses.
