Boat names on sails

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me what the rules are on putting your boat name on your
sail?  The main reason I'm asking is that it makes the boat so much more
easier to identify which makes life allot easier in the race box!  We have a
couple of Unicorn cats at our club and they are allot easier to identify
than the other boats we have as they carry there name on there sails which
makes identifying them allot easier than trying to read a 6 digit sail
number from 200 metres!  That and there is so little of the lasers hull
above the water line to put a name on so it is visible from a distance!
