fix-up q's

happy holidays to everyone... i sure had a great
christmas, as i'm now the proud owner of my very first
laser!!  since it's an old boat, i do have a few
questions that i figured y'all could help me out with.
i have done some work on other peoples' lasers but
have never had to mess with paint, gel-coat, etc.
mainly, what's the best way to re-do the hull? (it's
got quite a few layers of old paint on it... how do i
go about removing/redoing that and perhaps
gel-coating?) i'm sure i'll have many more questions
as i go along, but would appreciate any tips and
hints!
