list back up

Thanks to the heroic efforts of Mike Regoli at winsite.com (visit them
and click on bunch of ads as a thank you) the mailing list is backup
again.  Sometime about a week ago the motherboard on the Laser Class
web server/mail server did that great deathroll into the deeps.  At first
we thought it was just the power supply, but further testing revealed
a slightly more catastrophic failure.

Thanks to Fred Schroth for approving the purchase of a new machine
to host the mailing list and web site.  We are currently running off
of a old machine which, unfortunately, is being booted froma floppy
disk.  As a result, I have to do some kernel magic to get the
web server running again, but (at least I hope) the mailing list
should now be working.  The new machine arrives at wisite.com on
Monday and we should be getting it up and running sometime
after that depending on Mike's schedule.
