Loose the vang a little bit that will cause that the sail will have a
belly again. In middle winds the aerodynamic of the sail will be better
and faster with a little belly, because if you tighten the vang to much
then the sail will go completly flat and as consequences if you are in the
wind then you only drifting because the sail has no aerodynamic.
If this also not help then try to pull the beem over the middle to
windward and push the ruder away from you. Then you back up:-). Then pull
the main sheet in pull the ruder to the centre, carefull!! The Laser might
roll in the first moment. Then you go back to your course. Watch the wind!
If I am wrong so let me know.
