AC boat: more info

OK here's the scoop:
When the boat (which happens to be USA-61, the boat
sailed by AmericaOne in the 2000 LV Cup if you do
recall- Oracle Racing acquired their assests for 2003)
lost its 21-ton keel it capsized (of course)... the
mast started to go under so they kept it afloat with
floaters, then towed it back in, and dismantled the
rig. they don't think they'll be able to salvage the
keel because it reportedly lays near an underwater
comms line. damage is extensive, obviously, and
usa-61's expected to be OOC until jan.
